Lab Level Hints

Some players find following the professor through the maze of corridors on the way to the laboratory challenging. To make this easier, try a couple of things.

First, try not to get ahead of the professor. Take just one step for each of his unless you're lagging behind. Getting ahead of him can be quite confusing, especially if you are using headphones or a two speaker configuration.

Second, don't turn until you hear the professor moving away from you all the way to the right or left. At this point, use your Snap to Relative Compass command to turn in the appropriate direction. This command turns you 90 degrees to the left or right. Refer to the Monkey Business manual for specifics.

Still having trouble? Here's a list of the directions that the professor will be walking in on his way to the lab.

• The professor starts out walking north.
• The professor will turn right at the end of the first corridor, heading east. You will hear him yawn as he turns the corner.
• The professor will turn left at the end of the second corridor, heading north again.
• The professor will turn left at the end of the third corridor, heading west.
• The professor will turn right at the end of the fourth corridor, heading north. He will comment on how cold these hallways are as he turns the corner.
• The professor will turn right at the end of the fourth corridor, heading east.
• The professor will turn right again at the end of the fifth corridor, heading south.
• The professor will turn left at the end of the sixth corridor, heading east. He will inform you that you're "almost there". You will be relieved.
• The professor will stop outside the door to the lab. The door will be to your left as you are traveling eastward down the final corridor, and leads north into the lab.
